Moss House was a good challenge for Heritage, 4 consulting rooms to be refurbished floor to ceiling, complete refurbishment of reception including bespoke counter.
Entrance corridor to be enlarged and refurbished floor to ceiling with new metal double opening automated front doors with Paxton Door access system for both staff and patients.
In the consulting room we had to remove carpet to be replaced with Altro Woodsafe vinyl flooring then install IPS system to house new handwash basin and handless taps. Rooms were fully decorated with new suspended ceiling and LED 600×600 lights.
The main challenges for this project was completing all works within the 6 week programme, timings were tight and it was close in the end with completing the new front doors but we got there on time and to the tendered cost. Another challenge was adding a Covid screen to the brand new counter that hopefully at some point be removed without damaging the new counter, this was achieved by thermoforming acrylic sheets to shapes and using clear sealant to fix into place, the team did an outstanding job on this and have received great feedback.
